As an embedded software engineer, you’ll help lead the Americanization of mission-critical systems.
 

Embedded Software Engineer Responsibilities: 

  • Develop flight software for inflight computers and other critical spacecraft hardware.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical and Hardware division to seamlessly integrate software solutions
  • Configure RTOS, Microprocesses, and Linux Kernels/Drivers
  • Design and execute full software test cases

Embedded Software Engineer Requirements: 

  • Experience coding in C++, Java, and Linux environments (or relevant experience)
  • Knowledge of hardware datasheets and schematics
  • Tools: Git, Make, and GNU tools
  • Related degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar disciplines

Our client are an exciting Aerospace & Defense company and they are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team and work on the cutting edge of UAS (Unmanned Air Systems) technology.
 
Looking for someone to contribute to the design and development of electrical systems and products – particularly within defense programs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical systems, from concept through to production, including re-engineering existing products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
 
Prior Aerospace or Defense experience is NOT essential for this role.

Duties/Responsibilities
 

  • Design and development of electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings using industry standard software and tools.
  • Research and select appropriate electrical components, including validation of U.S content, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and make necessary adjustments to meet performance goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design specifications, bills of materials, and test reports.
  • Ensure that designs comply with relevant safety and industry regulations, and MIL standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering to drive continuous improvement in our designs.

 
Required Skills/Abilities
 

  • Proficiency in electrical design.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components and their applications.
  • Knowledge of PCB design and layout.
  • Skilled with electrical simulation software and tools.

Education and Experience
 

  • Demonstrated experience in electrical design engineering, preferably within Defense projects.
  • Experience with re-engineering existing products to meet customer requirements and specifications.

We are presently in need of an adept Human Resources Director to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources (HR) department, encompassing tasks such as recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Source, assess, and oversee the hiring process for qualified candidates, collaborating closely with supervisors and managers to align job requirements with candidate profiles.

  • Certification such as PHR/SPHR or equivalent.
