Job Title: Supplier Development Manager

Location: Hybrid Role (Merritt Island, Florida; 3 days on-site, 2 days remote) with 25-50% travel (domestic and international)

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 based on experience

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Supplier Development Manager to play a crucial role in the large-scale manufacturing of our innovative and high-performing satellite systems. You will be tasked with ensuring the success of our manufacturing processes through rigorous quality and supplier development, including the ability to perform detailed Industrialization Assessments and control plan reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead industrialization assessments, with a focus on Capacity, Conformance, and Configuration.
  • Perform Risk Assessments and PFMEA/Control Plan reviews.
  • Establish and maintain Mission Readiness Reviews (MRR's), Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRL's), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR's), and Technology Readiness Levels (TRL's).
  • Ensure supplier equipment manufacturing meets our rigorous standards.
  • Regularly audit suppliers to assess risks and opportunities, driving mitigation and improvement plans.
  • Continuously follow up with suppliers, reviewing production stability KPIs, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate interfaces among all stakeholders involved in supplier management (procurement, technical, quality, material & processes).
  • Resolve conflicts within the project team, providing leadership and motivation.

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage supplier production aspects daily.
  • Proactive, autonomous decision-making capabilities with excellent interpersonal skills to drive projects within an international environment.
  • Excellent communication and strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • MS in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, or Thermal preferred).
  • Experience with mass production constraints in relevant industries such as automotive or aeronautics.
  • Familiarity with APQP, LEAN, DFMEA, and Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AS9100/ISO/Nadcap requirements is beneficial.
