My client specialises in delivering cutting-edge geospatial technologies and are expanding into the exciting space sector. As they venture into this new frontier, they are seeking a skilled Project Manager with UAV experience to lead their projects and drive success in this innovative space.

 

Position Overview:

As a Project Manager with UAV experience, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading their initiatives within the space sector. You will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, leveraging your expertise in UAV operations and geospatial technologies to deliver exceptional results. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking endeavor and contribute to the growth and success of their company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects related to UAV operations and geospatial imaging solutions within the space sector.
  • Coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and stakeholders, to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables..
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Maintain clear communication and foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to drive collaboration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Geospatial Sciences, Engineering, Remote Sensing) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the geospatial industry, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in UAV operations, including flight planning, data collection, and processing, preferably in a geospatial context.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the space sector or related industries is a plus.

With a commitment to pushing boundaries and driving advancements, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of PMO to join their dynamic team. This position will play a pivotal role in driving the strong growth across their aerial and space imaging solutions.

Position Overview:
As Head of PMO, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our newly built Project Management Office, developing processes and governance, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of 3-5 project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to project managers, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally while creating a supportive and empowering environment.
  • Define and implement standard project management processes.
  • Develop and document project management best practices, tools, and templates to streamline project execution and ensure consistency across projects.
  • Implement daily management practices to monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate issues.
  • Establish governance mechanisms to ensure adherence to project management standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and audits to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, design, quality assurance, and other key stakeholders, to ensure effective project execution.
  • Work closely with the Product Management team to define project goals, scope, and objectives, aligning them with the overall company strategy.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to the executive team in a clear and concise manner. This is a very senior position in the organization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in an engineering or other technical field along with a degree or certification in project management.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a team of project managers.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects in a technology-driven environment, preferably within the aerospace or imaging industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others to achieve common goals.
  • Experience in building and establishing project execution models and driving organizational change initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on delivering results that align with business objectives.

For this role relocation is paid to move to CPH as well as a bonus structure.
