Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize software codebases and systems for testing, commanding, and monitoring the companies spacecraft fleet
- Mentor junior ground software engineers to foster a skilled and cohesive team
- Manage the software lifecycle, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and user support
- Configure and enhance automated testing and deployment systems
- Maintain and upgrade ground systems for test sites and spacecraft communication during launch and orbit
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a STEM discipline; OR 9+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- 7+ years of experience developing fullstack web applications
- Proficient in writing and securing REST APIs
- Experience in database design, implementation, and security
- Knowledge of react, golang, typescript, terraform
- Experience working in AWS cloud environment
- Experience with docker/containerization and deployment through Kubernetes
