Position Title: Compensation and Benefits Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our client's team. Reporting to the VP of HR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating and sustaining programs that attract, retain, and reward top talent while excelling in coaching and developing HR professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and empower a proficient team of HR specialists to enhance HR processes and deliver an outstanding employee experience.
  • Mentor and train team members through regular check-ins, career growth discussions, constructive feedback sessions, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs, including base pay, bonuses, incentive plans, and equity.
  • Develop innovative solutions aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to assess strategy effectiveness, conduct in-depth program analyses, and recommend adjustments to remain competitive.
  • Lead relationships with external vendors, including benefit brokers.
  • Serve as a resource to leadership and HR teams on benefits and compensation-related processes and issues.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, talent acquisition, and operations teams to ensure programs meet organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, EEO regulations, and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of HR experience, specializing in benefits and/or compensation.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Experience managing equity programs preferred.
  • Ability to motivate and provide direction to teams, demonstrating commitment to team goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior leadership and across departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and confidently.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems and make decisions.
  • Independence, self-motivation, creativity, and flexibility.
  • Strong project management skills with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)
  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)
  • Membership in the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP)

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 2 to 4 times annually.
