Position Title: Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Job Description:
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner plays a pivotal role in overseeing the human resource function within the SRE business unit. This individual will contribute to organizational success by fostering strong relationships and implementing innovative HR solutions. This hands-on role requires a blend of tactical and strategic HR skills. The Senior HR Business Partner sets high standards of performance, demonstrates professionalism, seeks continuous learning opportunities, utilizes data-driven approaches, and adapts to various environments.

Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and implement human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Organize and control departmental activities, setting goals, objectives, and processes.
- Facilitate performance management and compensation processes annually.
- Review and update unique job descriptions as necessary.
- Conduct salary analyses and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain affirmative action programs and ensure compliance with EEO regulations.
- Prepare annual reporting for EEO-1 and Vets 4212.
- Lead recruitment efforts for all positions, including screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding.
- Maintain department records and reports, organizational charts, and employee directories.
- Evaluate department initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Administer Intern/Co-op programs and participate in college recruiting events.
- Establish relationships with colleges, universities, and trade schools.

Experience and Skills:
Required Experience:
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- May require up to 25% travel.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- PHR/SPHR certification desired.
- Minimum eight years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Experience in government contracting or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Deltek/Costpoint experience desired.
- Experience with ADP desired.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Office environment.
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
