Our client are an exciting New Engineering start-up in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area and they are looking for a Senior FPGA Design Engineer to work across the Design, Development and Integration of Software and Hardware Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Crafting innovative logic components for utilization on FPGA
- Deploying tailored algorithms for signal manipulation on hardware platforms
- Developing custom controllers for FPGA
- Collaborating with software engineers to create embedded applications compatible with hardware logic components
- Integrating and utilizing pre-packaged IP components within hardware design schematics
- Operating in both development and production settings, utilizing various hardware platforms
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of FPGA Design & Development experience.
- Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL
- Familiarity with a leading hardware development environment
Desirable:
- Experience with specific hardware architectures
- Experience with diverse computing platforms and data acquisition systems
- Familiarity with Embedded programming languages such as C/C++
- Competence in both Windows and Unix-like operating systems
- Familiarity with specialized software tools is advantageous
- Problem-solving ability grounded in fundamental principles
