As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in designing innovative algorithms and implementing advanced data science solutions to address complex transportation challenges. Responsibilities:
- Design algorithms to extract valuable transportation insights from diverse data sources.
- Research and implement effective strategies, including machine learning models and regression analysis, to solve data science problems.
- Curate and prepare real-world datasets for model training and validation purposes.
- Collaborate with the Application Engineering team to integrate data science algorithms into the analytics platform.
- Develop compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
- Customize solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable university. A PhD with a focus on quantitative research is also acceptable.
- 3-5 years of experience in data science or statistics, with proficiency in Python.
- Strong background in SQL and relational databases (experience with BigQuery or PostgreSQL preferred).
- Deep understanding of data science techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to deliver results on deadline and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Quick learner with a passion for continuous growth.
