Satellite Test Engineer

I am urgently looking for a Satellite Test Engineer for a 6 month contract to be responsible for the satellite functional and electrical testing, from unit level to full satellite testing.

This is an on-site position, with flexibility to have 1 day a week from home.
You will take the lead in the preparation, execution, and reporting of complex tests, as well as being able to translate a test plan into a detailed step-by-step procedure.

Skills required:
  • Hands on experience as a Test Engineer on Satellites
  • Good knowledge of C-code and script languages to automate testing.
  • Strong background in debugging and software testing.
  • Understanding of a data interface, checking and debugging communication according to a specified data protocol.
  • Able to setup a simple electrical test setup to measure current and voltage on a power interface.
  • Understanding of Linux
