Our client, a leading player in the space industry, is actively seeking a talented Program Manager to join their dynamic team.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for executing on programs for U.S. customers by leading all phases of the program life cycle from pre-sale to contract closeout. Your primary mission will be the day-to-day management of cost, schedule and performance for programs in National Security, Defense and Civil sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain program baselines and schedules.
- Develop and execute program Statements of Work.
- Participate in contract negotiations and manage contract changes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.
- Deliver presentations to both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure program success.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers to identify growth opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record of program/project management with U.S. Government customers.
- Experience in program management within U.S. Civil, Defense, and/or National Security sectors.
- Experience in leadership roles within project teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to develop and execute program plans that meet stakeholder expectations.
- Background in remote sensing programs or products.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup/scaleup environment.
- Familiarity with U.S. Government acquisition processes and contract management.
- Eligibility for or possession of active security clearance.
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
