Procurement and Contracts Specialist

We are looking for a talented Procurement and Contracts specialist to join our space client in Maryland, US. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement activities, from sourcing to contract negotiation, ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define procurement needs and develop strategic sourcing strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships to optimize performance, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project objectives.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Familiarity with government procurement regulations and procedures (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
