About the Role:
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and designing machine learning infrastructure to support our team of data and remote sensing scientists. Collaborating closely with Analytics and Software teams, you will contribute to the development of data-driven products and solutions. Responsibilities:
- Set up machine learning infrastructure, including model repositories, experiment tracking, and workflow orchestration.
- Optimize resources for development and production in the cloud environment.
- Deploy models for batch and online inference.
- Establish model monitoring, registries, experiment tracking, CI/CD, and continuous training.
- Initially focus on setting up MLOps and then transition to researching, developing, debugging, and deploying models using hyperspectral data.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of postgraduate experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar.
- Proficiency in Python, Pytorch, Weights and Biases, ML Flow, DVC, Ray, Dask, and the data science stack.
- Experience deploying and monitoring models in cloud environments (AWS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup environment.
- Strong decision-making skills and ownership of system design.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
