Overview:
As an Imagery Scientist, you will play a vital role in processing and analyzing full-spectrum hyperspectral data to support Army information needs. You'll collaborate with a team of experts to develop and modernize algorithms, tools, and methodologies, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of hyperspectral data analysis. If you have experience in electro-optical systems, AI/ML, cloud compute capabilities, or other technical areas related to remote sensing data analysis, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Process and analyze full-spectrum hyperspectral data to meet Army information needs.
- Develop and modernize algorithms, tools, and methodologies for hyperspectral data analysis.
- Conduct applied research to create and validate new remote sensing applications.
- Characterize data from ground, air, and space-based remote sensing instruments.
- Create and manage spectral signature libraries.
- Use radiometric and atmospheric correction techniques to produce calibrated data products.
- Represent the customer at meetings, engagements, and provide updates to leadership.
- Communicate customer requirements and enable collaboration between scientists and peers.
- Author technical papers and presentations, presenting findings at community symposiums.

Required Qualifications:
- Expertise in using ENVI and FSTK for remote sensing analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, Matlab, or IDL for script creation and modification.
- Hands-on experience analyzing multispectral and hyperspectral data collected by various sensors.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Degree in remote sensing, geography, imaging science, chemistry, physics, or related discipline.
- U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance.
