They are hiring for a Ground Segment Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee full lifecycle development of ground systems
- Requirements gathering & development for ground segment
- Work with legal team in regards to frequency license approval, site acquisition, creating vendor RFPs and statements of work
- V&V of ground architecture including antennas, ops centres and launch sites
- Collaborate extensively with mission operations team
- Build out and lead a small team
Requirements:
- 4+ years space industry experience
- Previous work on ground systems/ ground segment development
- Familiarity with ground equipment systems
- Knowledge of model based systems engineering tools (preferred)
- US citizen or person status
- Bachelor's degree
