About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Fluid Test Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is critical to the development and testing of our Fluids and Propulsion subsystems. As a Fluid Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in requirements design, analysis, validation, integration, safety, configuration management, verification, and testing to support the Fluids & Propulsion system development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write Test Requirements Documents for Fluids & Propulsion components.
  • Draft component test procedures for high pressure inert and non-inert gas systems, and cryogenic fluid systems.
  • Procure test equipment to support Fluids and Propulsion component testing.
  • Help set up the Fluids Development Lab.
  • Review and interpret test data to assess facility health and performance at the component level.
  • Contribute to schedule, configuration, quality, cost, and process safety management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fluids/Propulsion design and development, preferably in an Aerospace/Defense related program.
  • 2-7 years of demonstrated experience with fluid system engineering and testing.
  • Experience performing CDM activities on an Aerospace/Defense related program is preferred.
  • Demonstrated test experience including the development of Test Requirement Documents, test requirements, component diagnostic test information, and test operating instructions.
  • Experience with Jira is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with web browsers and email applications in an inter/intranet environment is recommended.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contractor status.
  • Background check and drug screen will be required prior to hire.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $90,000 to $165,000 annually, based on experience and skills.
