Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for a pivotal role as a Capture Manager / Director of Business Development. This role is essential for driving growth in critical areas of the defense sector, with a focus on Hypersonics, Intelligence, Specialized Sensors, Unmanned Systems, and Strike Systems.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full Business Development life cycle process in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple pursuits simultaneously.
  • Perform market analysis, gap identification, and economic analysis within the DoD sector.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans, including proposal writing and review processes.
  • Foster internal and external partnerships, maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Drive strategy for sector growth and execute win strategies to meet financial objectives.
  • Represent the organization in industry events, conferences, and panels.

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in a relevant field with 15 years of experience in the DoD space market. (An MBA is preferred)
  • Must possess a current and active DoD Top Secret clearance, with eligibility for SCI.
  • Strong background in U.S. Government acquisition processes.
  • Proven expertise in Program or Capture Management.
  • Demonstrated success in capture and pipeline management across various Defense and Intelligence customers.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Program planning, budget development, and implementation of project controls.
  • Established DoD customer relationships.
  • Experience in Hypersonics, space, and aerospace programs.
  • Expertise in transitioning prototypes to spin-offs or Programs of Record (PORs).
