Contracts Manager

We are in search of a skilled Contracts Manager to help drive the future of lunar surface mobility in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Assist in drafting and executing contractual documents
• Facilitate negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and government entities
• Evaluate contractual terms, mitigate risks, and negotiate on behalf of the company
• Manage contract implementation with subcontractors, ensuring mutual obligations are met
• Regularly audit and maintain comprehensive contract records to ensure compliance
• Coordinate and support contract administration across various departments
• Assist with government compliance efforts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in contract administration or a related field, preferably in aerospace or technology startups
• Thorough understanding of contract law, including formation, interpretation, and execution
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable terms while nurturing positive relationships
• Experience managing contracts with the U.S. government
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• U.S. citizenship or legal residency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role within aerospace or technology startups
• Advanced degree or certification (e.g., JD, CPCM)
• Familiarity with space industry contracts, including NASA or DoD agreements and relevant regulations like FAR, DFARS, and NFS
• Knowledge of intellectual property rights and licensing in the space sector
• Experience with international contracts and cross-border transactions
