We are searching for an Avionics Design Engineer to work with a cutting edge New Space client. In this position you will spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge avionics systems. As a key member of our team, you'll have unparalleled influence over the future of space exploration.
Responsibilities:
- Define and shape avionics systems/subsystems, ensuring operational excellence at every level.
- Take charge of avionics systems, from design to testing, ensuring reliability and functionality.
- Conduct meticulous system-level assessments to guarantee robustness and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems.
- Lead rigorous test campaigns to qualify components for spaceflight, navigating challenges like vibration, shock, and radiation.
Experience expected:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
- Experience in spacecraft systems design or avionics component design, including academic or personal projects.
- Proficiency in utilizing lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, Multimeters etc.
- Prior experience in Power Systems for Spacecraft.
- Familiarity with parts classification, testing requirements, and radiation effects mitigation.
- Knowledge of digital communication protocols and power systems design for spacecraft.
- Experience with FPGA and MCU embedded systems, as well as motor controller design.
