VP of Operations – Global Infrastructure

Location: France-based (travel required between French sites and occasionally internationally) - Remote option available 
Reporting to: CTO

About the Role

We’re looking for a Vice President of Operations to take full ownership of our global infrastructure—a mission-critical network of radar deployments, technical systems, and industrial sites that support a high-tech, high-impact industry. You’ll lead operations that directly influence data quality, system uptime, and global service delivery.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role. You’ll work closely with internal engineering, mission, and R&D teams, as well as external partners and customers, ensuring infrastructure is robust, secure, scalable, and high-performing. Expect regular travel between multiple French sites and occasional international trips as the global footprint expands.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end operations for our global radar and sensor infrastructure, from deployment to daily performance.

  • Oversee field operations, remote site management, maintenance, logistics, and spectrum compliance across multiple countries.

  • Own and optimize system performance metrics, data quality, and reliability standards—driving continuous improvements.

  • Act as the key link between operations and customers—ensuring our infrastructure meets their expectations and needs.

  • Work cross-functionally with legal, procurement, and finance to solve complex site setup and logistics challenges.

  • Build and mentor international operations teams, ensuring clear accountability, smooth onboarding, and high-performance culture.

  • Introduce scalable tools, processes, and automation to streamline field operations and support rapid growth.

  • Shape the roadmap for infrastructure evolution by feeding real-world insights into engineering and product teams.

What You’ll Bring

  • 12+ years’ experience leading operational functions in high-stakes environments (aerospace, defense, energy, telecom, or similar).

  • Proven track record overseeing critical or complex technical systems, ideally including remote sensing, radar, or satellite infrastructure.

  • Experience deploying and scaling international infrastructure in fast-moving, reliability-driven sectors.

  • Strong leadership capabilities—able to guide technical teams, field ops, and stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

  • Deep understanding of operational standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO, ITIL, MIL-STD).

  • A practical, entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable rolling up your sleeves while also building long-term operational strategy.

  • Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent in English; French proficiency is a strong bonus.
