EVONA have partnered with a comprehensive Space Systems Provider that specializes in crafting, constructing, and managing satellite constellations to deliver earth observation solutions.

As a Software Technical Program Manager you will take the lead in driving our groundbreaking programs from conception to launch and beyond. As a pivotal member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with engineering leaders spanning software, hardware, science, and product development to ensure seamless execution at every stage.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technical leadership to craft roadmaps and oversee software development initiatives, guiding projects through the entire lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope and schedules, proactively identifying and communicating risks to stakeholders.
  • Ensure clarity and alignment across teams, facilitating seamless delivery of project milestones.
  • Facilitate the release of features and infrastructure vital to ongoing spacecraft programs.
  • Implement software management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, drawing upon your wealth of experience.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis and insights to support the development of software products.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional leaders to define and monitor resource requirements.
  • Aggregate and address issues with deployed software, both in lab environments and during orbit operations.
  • Establish clear and concise reporting mechanisms to keep key stakeholders informed on program status, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 3 years in project management roles.
  • Profound understanding of software, hardware, and/or FPGA development processes.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex crossfunctional projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaborative relationships across diverse teams and departments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of delivering clear and tailored messages to various audiences.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fastpaced environment with a passion for tackling new challenges.

Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Experience in highreliability embedded software development (e.g., aerospace, autonomous vehicles, medical devices).
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and FPGA development.
