Senior Flight-Operations Satellite Systems Engineer
We’re hiring a Flight Operations Systems Engineer to join an ambitious satellite systems program. You’ll help shape and execute the operational architecture for a next-generation satellite constellation — with hands-on involvement from concept to in-orbit validation.
This is an opportunity to be a key technical contributor in defining mission operations, developing procedures, and supporting satellite simulations and testing.
Your Mission:

Lead trade studies to design and simulate Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) strategies

Develop and validate spacecraft in-orbit operations procedures, including training and execution

Author and oversee the implementation of satellite operation manuals and test procedures

Build verification and validation matrices for commissioning, routine, and contingency operations

Support anomaly resolution and Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR)

Operate satellite simulators and create supporting scripts
What You’ll Bring:

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline

10+ years of experience in satellite flight operations or related systems engineering roles
-
Strong background in LEO/MEO satellite systems and IOT execution

Experience designing and automating satellite operations

Systems engineering expertise spanning space and ground segment architecture, flight software, telemetry, and database operations

Familiarity with modeling and simulation software

Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages

Working knowledge of MATLAB and AGI’s Systems Tool Kit (STK)
Nice to Have:

Experience in constellation-level operations

Proven ability to design and test automated operational systems

Solid Excel skills for technical analysis

Familiarity with tools like DOORS, Windchill, or Jama

Independent, proactive work style

English fluency required; French language skills are a bonus
