Position Overview
A leading provider of advanced ballistic testing solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join their London-based team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership qualities, a talent for building client relationships, and a passion for driving international sales growth. The successful candidate will lead business development efforts, oversee key customer accounts, and promote cutting-edge products and services to defense, aerospace, and government clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities

Build and maintain a robust international sales pipeline through proactive outreach and networking

Conduct on-site visits and lead technical sales meetings with engineering teams and customers globally

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer requirements

Prepare and present commercial proposals, lead contract negotiations, and close high-value deals

Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reporting on sales performance

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and product demonstrations
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in technical sales, ideally within defense, ballistics, or high-tech engineering sectors

Demonstrated success in developing new markets and closing complex sales

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior technical and commercial stakeholders

Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities

Willingness to travel internationally up to 40–50% of the time

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience is a plus

Must be eligible to work in the UK and obtain relevant international travel clearances
