We are seeking a skilled Production Mechanical Engineering Team Lead to oversee our Mission Support team, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of production lines and providing crucial support in production processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Managerial Duties:

  • Set team priorities aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage team workload, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Uphold safety, quality, and HR processes.

Technical Duties:

  • Provide primary engineering support for production anomalies and repair directions.
  • Coordinate with various departments for design and process changes.
  • Oversee the configuration and maintenance of production stations.
  • Act as a technical reference for engineering support teams.
  • Contribute to process improvement and technical problem-solving.


Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing) or similar field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, with leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in hardware handling, repairs, and power tools.
  • Knowledge of spacecraft flight hardware is a plus.
  • Strong commitment to work and leadership capabilities.


Physical and Working Environment:

  • Role involves sitting or standing and using tools. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work environment may be busy, noisy, with mechanical and chemical hazards.
