We’re working with a fast-growing space company to find a Phased Array Antenna Engineer to join their System Engineering Department. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the design, development, testing, and verification of phased array subsystems for next-gen space systems.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you’ll collaborate across systems and subsystems to meet mission-critical requirements for communications hardware.
What you’ll do:
-
Define and maintain requirements for antenna subsystems and related components
-
Manage traceability and justification of parent-child requirements
-
Support design architecture and performance budgeting at the subsystem level
-
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver hardware that meets mission objectives
-
Develop verification matrices and detailed test requirements
-
Track all development hardware through build matrices
-
Create and support execution of Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) plans
-
Review test data, evaluate non-compliances, and assist with data post-processing automation
What you bring:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
-
5+ years of relevant experience
-
Solid background in active antenna system design and beamforming
-
Hands-on experience with antenna testing and radiated test environments
-
Familiarity with antenna subsystems in space or ground segment applications
-
Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and other relevant simulation tools
Bonus points for:
-
Experience using DOORS, Windchill, or Jama for requirements management
-
Previous work on space programs
-
Exposure to modeling or simulation software
