Phased Array Antenna Lead Systems Engineer
We’re supporting a forward-thinking space organization in their search for a Phased Array Antenna Lead Engineer. This role sits within the System Engineering Department and will lead the definition, development, and full lifecycle execution of phased array antenna subsystems — from requirements to test and integration.
This is a leadership role for an experienced engineer ready to take technical ownership and guide cross-functional teams on mission-critical antenna design.
What you’ll do:

Define and maintain antenna subsystem and unit-level requirements

Lead requirements management activities, including traceability and justification

Drive the development of subsystem architecture and performance budgets

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the architecture meets mission goals

Create and manage verification matrices and detailed test plans

Track development hardware through build matrices

Lead development and execution of the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) plan

Review test data, manage non-compliance, and support automation of data post-processing
What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

10+ years of experience in phased array or active antenna systems

Expertise in beamforming, antenna parameters, and RF subsystem performance

Experience with antenna test environments, including radiated test facilities

Deep understanding of antenna applications in space and/or ground segments

Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and simulation tools
Bonus points for:

Experience with tools like DOORS, Windchill, or Jama

Background in satellite or space programs

Experience creating or using advanced modeling and simulation software

Proven ability to lead independently with minimal oversight

Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus)
