POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for a Senior Radar Signal Processing Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in designing and developing radar signal processing algorithms that enhance the detection and tracking of objects in low Earth orbit (LEO). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of these solutions into our radar network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and Development
Lead the design and development of innovative radar signal processing algorithms, including data processing and fusion techniques.
Draft and maintain specifications for the transmission and reception chains to optimize object detection in LEO.
Drive the evolution of radar processing algorithms to enhance performance, accuracy, and reliability.
Evaluation and Integration
Assess algorithm performance through simulations and real-world data analysis.
Ensure seamless integration of signal processing solutions within the overall radar system architecture, considering real-time constraints.
Testing and Validation
Plan and conduct comprehensive tests to validate algorithm performance and reliability.
Participate in on-site testing campaigns to demonstrate the effectiveness of radar solutions in operational environments.
Research and Innovation
Collaborate on research initiatives to explore new radar processing techniques and technological advancements.
Contribute to the development of next-generation radar solutions for Space Situational Awareness (SSA).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in radar signal processing or a related field, preferably in space or defense industries.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in signal processing algorithms, including FFT, filtering, and spectral analysis.
Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Python, or C++ for simulation and algorithm development.
Knowledge of radar systems, including pulsed radar, electronic scanning, and Doppler processing.
Familiarity with real-time processing, FPGA implementation, and hardware-software integration.
Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

System Design and Architecture
Gather customer requirements and draft detailed technical specifications for radar systems.
Design or adapt radar system architectures to meet performance requirements such as accuracy, reliability, and redundancy.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Development and Integration
Oversee the development of radar subsystems, including hardware, software, and algorithms.

Testing and Validation
Define and implement comprehensive testing campaigns to assess radar performance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: At least 10 years in radar systems design, development, and integration, ideally in space or defense.
Skills:
Proficiency in radar system architecture design, including phased array radar and real-time processing.
Experience with system-level simulations and performance evaluations.
Strong knowledge of hardware-software integration and RF system design.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and industry compliance requirements.
