Computer Vision Engineer

We're currently seeking a dynamic Engineer to spearhead our Computer Vision endeavors, with a primary focus on In-Space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (ISAM). This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore the realms of Reinforcement Learning (RL) and Deep Neural Networks (DNN) to imbue autonomy into our space systems. 

Key Responsibilities

Pioneering Computer Vision Solutions:

  • Develop and deploy innovative computer vision algorithms tailored for space-centric applications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate computer vision solutions into spacecraft systems.

Mastering Machine Learning and Neural Networks:

  • Leverage cutting-edge machine learning techniques and neural networks to train models using space-related datasets.
  • Stay at the forefront of machine learning and neural network advancements, incorporating novel methodologies into our systems.

Championing Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning:

  • Apply advanced reinforcement learning and deep learning methodologies to optimize decision-making processes within autonomous space systems.
  • Fine-tune deep learning models for real-time space applications, ensuring peak performance under challenging conditions.

Strategic Data Processing and Analysis:

  • Develop robust algorithms for processing and analyzing satellite imagery, telemetry, and other space-derived data.
  • Extract actionable insights and trends from vast and complex datasets, driving strategic decision-making processes.

Collaboration and Documentation Excellence:

  • Foster a culture of collaboration within interdisciplinary teams, embracing opportunities to diversify and expand your skill set.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering alignment and understanding.


  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in computer vision, machine learning, neural networks, reinforcement learning, and deep learning.
  • Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Proficiency in leading deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and RLlib.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and Java.
  • Passion for space exploration and familiarity with space applications are highly advantageous.
  • Prior experience in space systems or robotics is a significant asset.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
