Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the overall business development and sales strategy for the company's satellite ground operations software suite.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospects, partnerships, and new market segments.
  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and potentially government agencies.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets through effective sales leadership.
  • Lead and grow a sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop and implement effective sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and negotiations to potential clients and partners.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the satellite market, including key players, technologies, and trends, backed by 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Strategic Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives, industry partners, and government officials.
  • Results-Driven Mindset: Strategic thinker with a strong focus on results, able to develop and implement effective business development strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with the technical aspects of satellite operations and related software solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Location & Travel Requirements: Based in the Denver area or willingness to relocate.

Solutions Engineer

Remote from one of the following locations:

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Architecting Solutions: Design and architect integrations for both new and existing customers, ensuring that our product is tailored to meet their technical and business needs.
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee the implementation of customized solutions to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Collaboration: Provide technical guidance and support to customers during the implementation process and assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation and training materials for customers.
  • Team Coordination: Align customer timelines and requirements with internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project progression and resource availability.
  • Feedback and Optimization: Act as a liaison between the customer and software development teams to address technical issues and enhance the product based on customer feedback.

Tech Skills:

  • Integration Technologies: Proficient in integration platforms and APIs, with a strong understanding of RESTful services and middleware.
  • Programming Languages: Knowledge of Python is highly advantageous.
  • Systems Engineering: Familiarity with both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Tools and Platforms: Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana).

Soft Skills:

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the aerospace, SaaS, or related industries is highly desirable. Understanding of compliance requirements for commercial and U.S. government projects is a plus.
  • Certifications: Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
