Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced electrical engineers across multiple specialties to join our contractor network. Whether your expertise lies in power systems, electronics design, RF systems, FPGA development, or other areas of electrical engineering, we want to hear from you! You will have the opportunity to work on projects that push the boundaries of space exploration and satellite technology. Key Responsibilities (varies by project):

  • Design and develop electrical systems and circuits for various applications, including power distribution, avionics, control systems, and communication systems.
  • Perform simulations, analysis, and testing to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
  • Generate and review technical documentation, including schematics, block diagrams, and system specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical components with mechanical and software systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and failure analysis for electrical systems, resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering (aerospace, defense, or commercial technology experience preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and electrical analysis tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, SPICE, MATLAB).
  • Experience with one or more of the following: power systems, RF communication, FPGA systems, control systems, avionics, or embedded electronics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a project-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of industry-specific requirements such as NASA, ESA, MIL-STD, IPC, or medical technology standards.
  • Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for reliability (DFR).
  • Familiarity with space-grade, defense-grade, or other specialized components and materials.
