A leading aerospace and defense company is seeking a People Operations Generalist to join its growing HR team. In this role, you will be a frontline advocate for employees, providing direct support across onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and employee engagement functions. You’ll work both at HQ and at the company’s manufacturing site, helping ensure a consistent and positive employee experience across all locations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary HR contact, responding to employee inquiries about policies, benefits, and systems
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and a positive employee experience
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support HR systems, reporting, and audits
  • Serve as the dedicated HR partner for the manufacturing site, fostering strong employee relations on the floor
  • Support internal communications, employee events, and culture-building initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable employment laws
  • Manage employment verifications and contribute to policy development and change communication

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ experience in People Operations or Human Resources
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Experience working with multi-site or manufacturing teams preferred
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities discreetly and effectively

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Specializing in cutting-edge satellite technology & solutions, they offer a range of innovative products designed to enhance satellite operations and improve the management of satellite fleets.

These solutions help satellite operators and organizations in the space industry optimize their resources, streamline their processes, and ultimately achieve greater efficiency and performance. Their products cover areas such as satellite tracking, data management, and communication, enabling their clients to better monitor and control their satellite assets. Their technology plays a crucial role in advancing satellite operations and contributing to the ongoing development of space exploration and communication.

Position Summary:

You have full command of TypeScript, Next.js/React (In a functional paradigm usage), SCSS, and Node.js. Wrong typography, inconsistent margins, long load-times, and non-memoized React components keep you up at night.  You take pride in creating interfaces that are not just functional but delightfully precise and intuitive to use. You are a quick learner who is open to feedback and eager to develop your skills.  You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a positive team environment.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Directly and consistently contribute to the codebase with an obsessive attention to detail, ensuring every pixel, margin, and interaction adheres to design and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate complex workflows into intuitive, error-free user experiences
  • Implement and enforce methods and processes that ensure delivery consistency and accuracy prescribed by designers
  • Regularly review and refine UI/UX implementations to ensure perfection, from typography alignment to seamless component interactions.
  • Coordinate uncertain and on-going design improvements with other engineers
  • Lead and mentor other engineers in balancing performance, code-hygiene, and delivery times.
  • Always be willing to learn industry-specific material.

Key Requirements: 

  • Expert in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, REST APIs, and functional-paradigm-usage of React or Next.js.
  • Ample experience in working with software designers and related tooling (I.e., Figma, Figjam, After Effects)
  • Familiarity with IBM Carbon design system, Python, Supabase, and/or WASM is a huge plus.
  • Understanding of 3D geometry and geospatial mathematical concepts, and experience utilizing geospatial rendering libraries like Cesium or DeckGL is highly desired.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing, preferably AWS (internships or academic projects acceptable)
  • Understanding of software containerization and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of software test methodologies
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Comfortable working in a Mac environment

  • Colorado base salary range: $100,000 – $160,000
