Position Overview:
As the Human Resources Generalist, you will oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources (HR) department and take the lead on culture initiatives and internal communications. Your responsibilities will include recruitment, benefits administration, policy enforcement, organizing cultural events, and managing internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document compliance with mandatory and optional training, continuing education, and work assessments, including safety training and professional certifications.
- Manage the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and collaborating with department managers to assess required skills.
- Handle background checks and eligibility verifications for new hires.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and employee recognition initiatives.
- Administer human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, performance management, and talent development.
- Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by regularly reviewing policies and practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in HR and employment law.
- Draft and disseminate internal announcements regarding policy changes, benefits, and training opportunities.
- Organize employee-focused cultural and morale-boosting events.
- Create and share social media content related to company culture, recruitment, and events.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of two years of human resources experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP certification is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of desk work and computer usage.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when required.
- Access and navigation of various departments within the organization's facilities may be necessary.
