Join a pioneering company as our Director of Programs, reporting directly to the SVP of Product and Business Development. In this role, you will lead initiatives to support NASA and other clients in the post-International Space Station era using our innovative space stations. Collaborating closely with engineering, operations, safety, manufacturing, and business development teams, you will spearhead efforts to secure NASA’s CLD certification and services contract, shaping the future trajectory of our organization.

This is a full-time. Based in LA onsite.


  • Oversee customer contract management from inception to mission completion.
  • Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and market trends for LEO space determining pricing and strategic direction.
  • Lead U.S. Government proposal planning, preparation, and submission.
  • Ensure products meet or exceed U.S. Government proposal and program requirements.
  • Represent company at industry conferences and speaking engagements.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring delivery against cost and schedule objectives.
  • Collaborate with other program managers to identify synergies and opportunities.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate program risks.
  • Produce program reports for company leadership.
  • Support customer program deliverables, including status updates and milestone reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of program management experience in aerospace, space, or tech industries.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Master's degree in engineering.
  • Experience crafting compelling presentations and narratives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects concurrently.
  • Adaptability in a startup environment, implementing efficient processes for cross-functional work.
  • Self-motivated with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Passion for space industry innovation.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Up to 25% travel required.
