DevOps Engineer (Remote Flexibility Available)
Location: US (TS/SCI with Polygraph required)

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and maintain complex applications across cloud and hybrid environments

Manage servers, networks, firewalls, load balancers, and technology tools

Monitor systems for performance, uptime, and security compliance

Troubleshoot system issues and lead incident resolution

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and container technologies like Docker
-
Support the deployment of distributed web applications
-
Rotate into a 24/7 on-call support schedule (one week every 6-8 weeks, with additional compensation for on-call coverage)
Required Skills and Experience:

Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 additional years of experience in place of a degree)

8+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related disciplines

Hands-on experience with:
-
Linux systems administration
-
AWS, MASH, and virtualized environments
-
Relational databases (Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL)

Networking fundamentals, security best practices, and firewall/load balancer management

Terraform for infrastructure as code
-
Docker and Docker Compose
-
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) management

Deploying and supporting distributed web applications
Desired (Bonus) Skills:

Experience working in highly secure environments (eVo, CoDE, UWE environments)

Knowledge of Kubernetes, Zookeeper, Hazelcast, Kafka, and Nginx

Familiarity with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for system monitoring

Python scripting and Java/Spring Boot application troubleshooting

Ansible for configuration management

Working within Agile software development frameworks

Jira and Confluence usage for project tracking and documentation

Monitoring, alerting, and system observability toolsets
Compensation:
$101,996 to $219,197 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
