Role Overview:
Lead the company's business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion. As VP of Business Development, you will oversee strategic partnerships, identify and capitalize on new opportunities, and steer sales and marketing efforts to strengthen the company's market presence and profitability.
The position is fine to start remotely, however there will be an expectation to relocate to South Africa once your Visa has been granted.
This position is a mix of strategy, where you will work closely with the board and CEO, as well as hands on / customer facing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute high-level business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Establish and nurture key relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients.
- Drive sales processes, customer acquisition, and market expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing to boost brand visibility and lead generation.
- Identify emerging markets and create strategies for growth.
- Drive sales through your direct line reports
- Global travel meeting customers
Requirements:
- System Engineering background or have experience selling tier 2 products
- Extensive experience in a leadership Sales position
- Extensive experience in the Space sector
