My client specialises in delivering cutting-edge geospatial technologies and are expanding into the exciting space sector. As they venture into this new frontier, they are seeking a skilled Project Manager with UAV experience to lead their projects and drive success in this innovative space.


Position Overview:

As a Project Manager with UAV experience, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading their initiatives within the space sector. You will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, leveraging your expertise in UAV operations and geospatial technologies to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects related to UAV operations and geospatial imaging solutions within the space sector.
  • Coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and stakeholders, to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables..
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Maintain clear communication and foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to drive collaboration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.



  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Geospatial Sciences, Engineering, Remote Sensing) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the geospatial industry, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in UAV operations, including flight planning, data collection, and processing, preferably in a geospatial context.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the space sector or related industries is a plus.

System Engineer

Systems Engineer – Space Portfolio

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark or remote with one week a month on site.

Reports to: Vice President of Research & Development

Position Overview:

As a Systems Engineer focusing on their Space Portfolio, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving the development of space hardware systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will collaborate on the design, implementation, and optimization of space systems, ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability, and functionality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of new and existing products within Phase One’s Space Portfolio as the key technical stakeholder.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across R&D, Project Management, and Operations to ensure optimized technical architecture, seamless functionality, and project execution.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements to inform system design and development.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the R&D team, contributing to the overall success of their space initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures in all phases of space hardware development.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including external partners and customers, to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.



  • Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the design, development, and delivery of space hardware systems – ideally with hands-on payload experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of space industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Product Manager

Are you interested in working for a company who are striving to show the world what high-quality digital imagery can do through medium and large digital cameras, software and imagery solutions.

Our client, based in Denmark are looking to recruit a Product Manager to lead a new product line focussing on imaging sensors for Earth Observation and SDA (Space Domain Awareness).

The role:

In this role, you will join the Geospatial Product Management team that are leading the space portfolio and product roadmap. You will be intertwined with the sales team, ensuring they are well informed on the product line. You will work closely with Marketing to ensure that the value proposition and marketing collateral are on point. Finally, you will work incredibly closely with R&D to ensure that technical solutions meet customer requirements!


  • You are the CEO on your product line!
  • You keep up to date with the satellite and Earth Observation market, be it reading, attending conferences, meeting customers and partners.
  • You prioritize requirements gathered through multiple channels and develop a clear roadmap that drives business.
  • Working with the PMO office, you drive the project plan.
  • You understand business models, and define the pricing structure of your product line.
  • You will plan for the entire lifecycle.


  • You have a Master degree in a relevant discipline, or a Bachelor’s degree with plenty of relevant experience.
  • You have been working in the Space industry for 10 years, ideally with first-hand experience with Earth Observation (remote sensing, satellite manufacture data processing and delivery.
  • You have experience working within Project Management.
  • You are able to handle technical discussions with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • You have a strong understanding of the LEO (Low Earth Orbit).
