We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer reporting to the Structures and Mechanisms Department to help us with the design and build of spacecraft projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Designing vehicle structures from conceptual phase through product release and manufacture
  • Ownership of the vehicle BOM, mass tracking and hardware release
  • Define and manage interfaces between vehicle subsystems trading various
  • Develop design process improvement via simplification or automation
  • Provide technical assistance to integration and testing activities
  • Manage teamcenter and NX libraries used by entire engineering organization.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar field
  • 5+ years of relevant CAD/Design experience
  • Experience designing and managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawings
  • Demonstrated development and configuration management experience on technically complex hardware products
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering design, analysis, and manufacturing
  • Experience with ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41

Director of Space Agency Sales

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Director, Space Agency Sales, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Product and Business Development. As Director, you will serve as the primary liaison for prospective clients interested in private crew services aboard the company’s space stations, with a focus on engagements with sovereign space agencies.
 
Collaborating closely with technical teams, you will articulate the capabilities of the company’s product offerings to potential clients, driving the identification of opportunities, fostering key relationships, and facilitating contract negotiations crucial to the growth trajectory.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of customer contracts, from initial contact to mission completion.
  • Maintain and enhance internal sales tools and dashboards.
  • Partner with the Communications & Marketing team to develop marketing materials and strategic communications.
  • Cultivate and expand business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Develop and present bid/no-bid strategies, oversee proposal planning, preparation, and submission.
  • Coordinate customer engagement activities including meetings, tours, and product demonstrations.
  • Drive partnership agreements and revenue growth.

 
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or science.
  • 5+ years of sales or program management experience in aerospace, or space industries.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in engineering or science (desired).
  • Proficiency in crafting compelling presentations and storytelling.
  • Strong prioritization skills, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Comfortable in a startup environment, capable of implementing efficient processes in a cross-functional setting.
  • Self-motivated with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Passion for the space industry and innovative business practices.
  • Understanding of B2B sales processes, pipeline management, and technical proposal writing.

Thermal Engineer

Senior / Principal Thermal Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Thermal systems requirements development • Perform thermal analysis to develop and optimize thermal control designs and provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines
• Document thermal analyses and designs
• Review and approve drawings for thermal design hardware content
• Report results of analyses and design specifics to internal management and external customers.
• Work with test engineering to plan and execute subsystem level thermal tests, as well as perform associated analyses.

• Experience using thermal analysis tools (SINDA/G, SINDA/FLUINT, TSS, Thermal Desktop) Preferred Skills & Experience:
