Enterprise System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise System Administrator for an innovative company focused on small satellite electric propulsion technology and space systems!

The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting various enterprise applications such as accounting software, MRP, ERP, etc. Additionally, they will play a key role in selecting new software and driving migrations to meet evolving company needs. This position carries significant responsibility within our growing IT team, requiring extensive experience with diverse IT software platforms, systems, and databases, as well as a penchant for dynamic and collaborative work environments.

 

**Responsibilities:**

– Administer existing enterprise software, ensuring timely updates and system uptime.

– Collaborate with IT peers to ensure proper system backups and security measures.

– Develop and deliver software training sessions.

– Create and execute a comprehensive IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.

– Support ongoing improvement of enterprise software in line with the IT roadmap.

– Collaborate with leadership to implement data processing and archival systems for manufacturing and testing.

– Evaluate, procure, and implement software solutions to enhance company operations.

– Supervise external contractors for custom database applications, overseeing improvements, upgrades, and deployments.

– Maintain accurate technical documentation to ensure smooth operations.

 

**Minimum Requirements:**

– Must meet the requirements of a United States Person.

– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Administration, or equivalent.

– 5+ years of IT experience in a business setting.

– Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, and EntraID cloud platforms.

– Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

**Preferred Qualifications:**

– Experience with various business database systems (e.g., accounting software, ERP, CRM).

– Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and other database systems.

– Familiarity with VMWare or similar virtualization technologies.

– Knowledge of manufacturing and/or quality systems (e.g., MRP).

– Familiarity with engineering software management (e.g., CAD, test software).

– Understanding of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC frameworks.
