Flight Software Engineer Responsibilities: 

  • Develop flight software for inflight computers and other critical spacecraft hardware.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical and Hardware division to seamlessly integrate software solutions
  • Configure RTOS, Microprocesses, and Linux Kernels/Drivers
  • Design and execute full software test cases

Flight Software Engineer Requirements: 

  • Experience coding in C++ and Linux environments (or relevant experience)
  • Knowledge of hardware datasheets and schematics
  • Tools: Git, Make, and GNU tools
  • Related degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar disciplines

Flight Software Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain flight software for spacecraft systems, including flight control, navigation, and communication for geostationary orbit (GEO) satellites.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.
  • Design and implement software for embedded systems and real-time applications in a demanding space environment.
  • Conduct comprehensive software testing and verification to ensure mission safety and reliable communication.

Flight Software Engineer Requirements:

  • Experience coding in C++ and Assembly language (or relevant experience).
  • Knowledge of spacecraft systems, orbital mechanics principles, and communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems development.
  • Experience with software development tools like Git, Make, and debuggers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or similar disciplines.
