Your Role:

  • Specialize in Fluids & Propulsion: Focus on detailed CAD designs, drawings, and release processes for advanced spacecraft systems. Your expertise will center around tubing, caps, sumps, panels, fluid lines, and vent lines.
  • Craft Spaceflight-Ready Designs: Utilize your knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to produce unambiguous, spaceflight-rated designs.
  • Collaborative Development: Engage in peer review processes, update designs based on feedback, and shepherd drawings through the approval stages.
  • Technical Proficiency: Showcase your skills in using Creo for CAD design and PTC Windchill for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

 

Who You Are:

  • Educated and Experienced: You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Fluids/Propulsion Design, preferably with aerospace/defense focus, and have 2-7 years of CAD experience using Creo.
  • Skilled in Specific CAD Areas: Experience with Instrumentation & Routed Systems, tubing, general sensors, and CAD models for spacecraft components.
  • Excellent Communicator: Your strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Self-Starter with a Drive for Excellence: Independent, purpose-driven, and achievement-oriented, you are prepared to take ownership and accountability for your projects.
