I am currently seeking a Structural Engineer for a position located in California. This is working for a new space business who have won a large NASA contract to work on Luner Landers.
This position includes providing engineering expertise in the area of design, development and analysis and test of spacecraft structures.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong working knowledge of Solidworks
Strong working knowledge of lightweight space structures that include honeycomb panels, bonded inserts and embedded reinforcements
Desired Skills & Experience:
Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Structural Engineering
Experience with FEA tools, particularly coupled loads, dynamics, vibration, acoustics and transient loads
