Integration Technician
This position will be in support of XL-1 for the lunar lander. Will be part of a small R&D team, hands on assembly, test and installation of flight hardware.
Duties and responsibilities:
Set up, assemble, test and install flight hardware.
Harness installation and basic on-assembly harness repair.
Experience with general hand and calibrated tools
Experience with precision drilling
Hands on inspection experience working with Grip Gauges, RA Gauges, Micrometers, Calipers, Durometer, etc.
Read and interpret technical drawings, and blueprints.
Experience with basic electronic verification tools (Multimeter, Milliohmeter, MegOhm meter)
Will work with engineers to review design concepts, provide feedback for ease of assembly and workability.
Will help to develop processes and procedures.
Additional experience preferred and/or nice to have:
Experience with MIG welding, anything beyond that is welcome
A&P (Airframes and Powerplants) license
IPC harness building certifications
Basic electronics soldering experience
Experience troubleshooting harnesses with multimeter
Experience with tube fabrication (bending, facing, flaring)
Experience working on aircraft/rocket propulsion systems
Experience working on aircraft/rocket structures
Professional Requirements:
Must be a “U.S. person” as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
