AIV Manager/Engineer

Belgium based Space company are looking for an AIV Manager who wants to be hands on and technical to join the team on a permanent basis. You will get to work in leading edge technology and have a challenging environment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a leading space company.


You are the overall responsible for the assembly, integration and verification of either a satellite or of a docking and berthing system. This includes, not just the logistics, but also the technical interaction.

During phase B, this will be mainly, review of AIV related requirements and ensuring that we have a sound AIV approach/plan. Further in the project, you will manage the assembly, integration and verification approach and ensure that all related activities are properly executed in line with the overall project planning (e.g. timely availability of integration documents, test procedures, test reports, inspection reports etc.). At QAR (qualification acceptance reviews) or FAR (final acceptance review), you will be able to present a consistent VCD (Verification Control Document) to the customer, to ensure that all higher level requirements have been properly covered and successful close-out/acceptance has been reached.


  • You will have a master’s degree in engineering.
  • You will have previous AIV experience in space projects.
  • You will be happy to be hands on and involved technically.
  • We expect you to be highly motivated and passionate about space systems.
  • You must have fluent English skills.
