AIV Manager/Engineer

Belgium based Space company are looking for an AIV Manager who wants to be hands on and technical to join the team on a permanent basis. You will get to work in leading edge technology and have a challenging environment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a leading space company.

You are the overall responsible for the assembly, integration and verification of either a satellite or of a docking and berthing system. This includes, both the logistics and the technical aspects.

During different phases of the projects, you will be reviewing AIV related requirements and ensuring that the AIV approach/plan is strong. You will manage the assembly, integration and verification processes and ensure that all related activities are properly executed in line with the overall project planning (including; availability of integration documents, test procedures, test reports, inspection reports etc.). At QAR (qualification acceptance reviews) or FAR (final acceptance review), you will be able to present a consistent VCD (Verification Control Document) to the customer, to ensure that all higher level requirements have been properly covered and they have been succesfuly closed off/accepted.


  • You have a MS degree in Engineering
  • You have previous AIV experience in space projects and are happy to be hands on and involved on the technical side
  • You must have fluent English skills.

  • You have practical experience in working with multi-disciplinary team and supplier/subcontractors.
