EVONA is partnering closely with a Florida-based leader in satellite design and manufacturing. Join them as a Production Manager and help ensure the timely and quality production of satellites, managing daily operations and a team of supervisors and technicians.
You will drive safety, quality and data-driven improvements, while working with departments to streamline production.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Lead spacecraft integration and testing in compliance with quality, timescales, and costs.
- Address issues hindering production progress including test support equipment, manufacturing tools and factory works.
- Foster a safety and quality-first culture.
- Utilize data for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Plan and manage AIT resources.
- Mentor and develop your team of production supervisors and technicians, including managing headcount.
- Conduct Gemba walks and daily meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of technical production experience.
- Aerospace and clean room experience.
- Ability to understand specifications and systems requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to drive positive change.
- Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP system) and other tools.
