My client builds, and operates a diverse range of small satellite systems supporting space-based turnkey missions for several business applications, including earth observation, communications, in-orbit demonstrations, risk reduction opportunities, in addition to various science and exploration applications.

Job Summary:

With the Test team, you will join a hard-working and enthusiastic group, applying your experience to assure mission success. Your primary role will be to document and provide in-depth root cause understanding of test failures. This hands-on position requires close collaboration with multiple teams and a strong background in Electrical Engineering.  You will provide statistical data on different types of failures and recommend changes to avoid them in the future. Team members are driven and supportive. We foster frequent, open communication, and rely on collaboration and concurrence for problem solving. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Document and perform debugging efforts of failed devices
  • Apply diligence to promote production efficiency, mission objectives, and above all, hardware, and personnel safety
  • Understanding of statistics
  • Additional duties as required
  • Continually seek out ways to improve

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S Citizen
  • 2 years minimum electrical board-level experience.
  • Proficiency in using lab equipment for characterization and debug (oscilloscopes, DMMs, EMI analyzers, loads, sources, etc.)
  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical engineering.
  • Ability to understand and follow board schematics
  • Desire to solve problems collaboratively
  • Understanding of statistics
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interest working with a first-rate, collegial team

Additional Competencies:

  • Familiarity with mission assurance
  • Experience with spacecraft manufacturing
  • Experience in Electrical design

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 22 CFR §120.15 and 8 U.S.C. §1324b(a)(3) is required.
