The Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of low- and high-voltage electronic circuits and assemblies for automotive applications
Develop circuit diagrams, circuit simulations and PCB layouts
Develop and carry out tests in the low and high voltage range
Take over the care, maintenance and documentation of applications and processes
Actively collaborate with and support internal technical teams on various projects
Job Requirements
Degree (diploma or master’s degree) in the field of electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics
At least three years of experience in the design of analog circuits, preferably for high-voltage applications
Preferably experience in programming embedded systems
Experience with EDA systems, preferably Autodesk EAGLE
Have experience with SPICE-based simulations of analog circuits
A pronounced quality awareness is one of your strengths
Fluent in written and spoken English and German

The Autonomous Spaceflight team is realizing the first spacecraft autopilot (real-time on-board autonomous navigation and orbit control) which will offer a new standard for flight dynamics operations.
The Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the design, development and testing of the autopilot hardware in its entire life cycle from prototyping and design to manufacturing and testing
Responsible for the development of electronic circuits and assemblies for the autopilot space hardware
Develop circuit diagrams, circuit simulations and PCB layouts
Define and implement the electrical interfaces for a seamless integration into a spacecraft
Support the set up and execution of hardware-in-the-loop test campaigns in our guidance, navigation and control (GNC) Lab
Build test setups for breadboarding, prototyping or qualification test campaigns
Preparing specifications for the procurement of electrical equipment and EEE parts
Code and debug in embedded C/C++
Create relevant documentation when required
Job requirements
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
3+ years of experience with PCB development, design and testing and, MCU/MPU/SOC embedded system platform design and programming
Extensive experience in using EDA systems, preferably Autodesk EAGLE
Experience in CAN, SPI, I2C bus protocols
Knowledge of various embedded hardware and application systems
Experience with Linux systems
Team player

Able to work with minimal guidance and instruction

Their technology helps prevent satellite collisions in space and reduce the ever-growing space debris. At their site in Dresden, Germany, their electric satellite propulsion systems are developed and produced for the global market.
The Autonomous Spaceflight team is realizing the first spacecraft autopilot (real-time on-board autonomous navigation and orbit control) which will offer a new standard for flight dynamics operations.
The functional flight software is in an advanced implementation and testing phase and needs now to be tailored and optimized for the deployment on the autopilot’s hardware.
The Role and Responsibilities
Provide experience for the design and implementation of embedded software systems according to spacecraft flight software standards
Write high quality structured bare metal software for space mission critical embedded applications
Implement interfaces, tasks and threads which allow a seamless integration of the autopilot process into the spacecraft flight software tasks
Support and improve existing software and build/deploy/upgrade processes for different embedded targets and RTOSs
Performing software verification, validation and testing and create tools required by validation activities
Support the set up and execution of software- and hardware-in-the-loop test campaigns in our guidance, navigation and control (GNC Lab)
Create relevant documentation when required
Job requirements
Master’s degree in electrical, aerospace or software engineering or related discipline
3+ years of experience with embedded software development using C/C++ and communications protocols
Experience working with microcontrollers, real-time operating systems and sockets
Working knowledge of software development methodologies and embedded software engineering
Experience with Linux systems
Team player

Able to work with minimal guidance and instruction
A plus would be:
