Hybrid (3 days per week onsite); Full-time (9/80 schedule); Permanent
An exciting FPGA Engineer opportunity has just arisen with a leading military aircraft designer and manufacturer of flight control equipment and systems.
In this position, you will formulate FPGA requirements and craft VHDL code for FPGAs interfacing with components in flight control systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for architecting and creating test procedures and test benches for the developed FPGA solutions. This role reports to the Engineering Manager, and working alongside other Engineers you will:
- Create FPGA requirements.
- Develop VHDL code for FPGAs.
- Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews.
- Architect and develop FPGA test procedures and test benches.
- Perform verification and validation activities and document results.
- Perform card-level tests.
- Implement high-speed digital circuit designs based on requirements.
- Perform worst-case analysis for power and timing.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Over 2 years of experience developing and verifying FPGAs.
- VHDL coding experience.
- Knowledge of digital logic design.
- Even though this position does not require a DoD security clearance, you'll need to be eligible to obtain access to US export-controlled information.
