Manufacturing Engineer (Fluids) - Atlanta, GA (On-site, Full-time) - Aerospace - $120-150k

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects to ensure safety, reliability, and process efficiency are achieved and continually improved.
  • Provide valuable design feedback for new and existing hardware.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Employ process improvement methodologies to optimize production rates and reduce build hours and quality issues.
  • Manage projects within tight timelines, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate designs for manufacturability and test requirements, and implement in a rapidly evolving production environment.
  • Ideate and implement tooling and test solutions, enabling high-quality built hardware.
  • Train technicians, engineers, and leaders on best-in-class operations practices.
  • Work closely with design engineers and play a lead role in the manufacturing and integration of current and next-generation vehicles.

About You:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in an aviation or aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with metallic manufacturing techniques such as CNC fabrication, welding (orbital tube and TIG), and precision cleaning.
  • Proficient in CAD and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Working knowledge of Python or other coding languages.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working directly with hardware on the floor, including stooping, bending, and standing.
  • Experience in high volume manufacturing, design for manufacture, and product development life cycle is a plus.
  • Must be a US citizen.
